Title: Tire Pressure

I recently had to replace my rear tire but had a shop mount it on the rim. Now the front tire is low. I checked the service manual and found the tire pressures are all in metric!!! Since I don't know how to make the conversion, can anyone tell me what the English equivalent might be?

Doesn't really help. The user manual expresses the tire pressure are kgf/cm2. I think that's kilograms of force per sq centimeter. The actual numbers are front - 1.75 kgf/cm2; rear 2.0 kgm/cm2
Any other ideas. Maybe I should just call my local dealer but this is more fun.

I usually go with what is marked on the tire as a basis. The markings should tell you the maximum air pressure required by the tire manufacturer in both metric and standard...

I believe it is either 25 or 25.5 psi for the front and 29-31 for the back, i have it at 31 on the back tire because im a very large fella and they recommend 31 for 2 up. With me on it its pretty much 2 up lol.

  1.75kg/cm2 = 24.88 psi and 2kg/cm2 = 28.44psi
