I just installed the Kymco factory backrest on my scoot. Not pictured is the backside which had the KC logo in white. It was rather large and obtrusive. I removed it using goof off. Once removed, I used Lexol leather conditioner. It looks perfect!

Here's the backside. Took it out for a 5 minute ride today... Been too busy otherwise. That thing brought a smile to my face. :)

Nice pictures and a very good looking scooter! The backrest looks neat and tidy.

Where did you get it? I am having trouble finding one of those online. I would also like upgraded rear shocks but cant seem to find those aswell.
Thanks

You have to go to your Kymco dealer for them to order these. I also ordered the floorboard sport trims and will photo those once I get them :)

I found a backrest for the driver ;D
I like it. I haven't seen anyone with one yet.

Looks good. I have used Utopia backrests on other bikes for years. Their stuff is first class. Looks like they mounted it to the stock butt bump. Would love to see the underside. I have the backrest on a seat I took off the Goldwing up in the attic. Have thought several times it would be great to mount on the scoot. Hummm....

I've got a Utopia I took off of a Kawasaki Vulcan. I had it mounted on the back of my Yamaha Zuma 125 for a while - and took it off to keep it and mount it onto the XCiting. I came across a Givi SR89 before I had a chance to make the mount - so I use the Givi instead. If I switch to a top case - I'll mount the Utopia onto it (the Utopia's come on a hinge). I'm not into backrests mounted to the seat - because I've seen them bend or break.
