I just got a new key made for my scoot and the key they used was a yamaha key mold this is the second or thired time I have goten parts for my kymco from a yamaha starting to think kymco is part yamaha. or maybe I well just see how parts well fit my kymco from yamaha.

Kymco started out making part's for Honda and a few others. They still make Honda, BMW and some Yamaha bike parts I believe.

My Kymco dealer is also a Yamaha dealer. The keys from new for my Agility had a Yamaha/Kymco Key fob on it.
