Title: Looking for parts, People 150cc
Post by: medman1952 on September 25, 2011, 10:05:37 PM
Hi,

If somebody has this part, I'd appreciate a chance at it.

28230-KBN-9010  GEAR COMP KICK DRIVEN

This one is kind of shot, my buddy wants his kick start to work.

I think I'll be needing a starter clutch too, possibly a starter reduction gear.

When I get it apart, I'll know more. I'm waiting for a flywheel puller.

Hi Medman, Got an extra Lude Bro? (Medman) You can get that dog from stadium yamaha for $15.00. Get a new 1/2 moon spring (kick-start return) as it will be the next bit to fail.     http://www.stadiumyamaha.com/pages/OemParts?aribrand=YAM#/Kymco_USA/People_150/Starting_Motor_%26_Oil_Pump/2K01020005/01020013 (http://www.stadiumyamaha.com/pages/OemParts?aribrand=YAM#/Kymco_USA/People_150/Starting_Motor_%26_Oil_Pump/2K01020005/01020013)

Zombie,

Thanks, btw I've used this screen name online for years, you are the first to actually make a connection, come by the clinic and I'll see what I can do for your problems.

I guess I need to go see a eye doctor, I looked on that site and didn't see that part listed in the starter/klick start pages.

I found the part by just doing a search on the part number, price was $23.00.

As soon as I know what all the parts I need are I'll order, shipping can be high if I did them one at a time.
