Title: Sniper 50 belt question
Post by: CaptonZap on September 22, 2011, 04:20:42 AM
Howdy all,
I have a Sniper 50, and cannot find a manual for it. The belt is worn, and I was wondering if anyone can tell me the dimension for belt width that is the limit on wear.
Or where I can find an online manual for free.
Thanks  CZ

There is a thread here that has a Bucket load of manual links. Try search. If it is not in the Manuals thread. you can go to the stadium yamaha site, get the part #, Google that and you will find the size that way. I would get the Gates Powerlink belt to replace the stock one as they are Kevlar reinforced, and 1/3 the price. Your wear limit is 1.5mm (width-hight)  Good luck Capt.

Thanks for the reply Zombie,
I tried Sniper 50 manual, then Sniper 50, and all I got was my original post.
Seems there aren't too many of then around.
I measured the belt, and it is 17.44 mm across, but I don't know how wide it was to begin with. I'll try a Gates dealer this week, and see if they can cross the number, and they should be able to give me the width dimension
