I am 6'1" and there is no way I can use the top foot board. I barley have room for my legs on the main floorboard. The seat needs to be back about four more inches to give the rider more leg room for a much more comfortable ride. For a quick trip to the market I can endure it but I would not be comfortable on an extended excursion. (does anyone else out there agree with me?)

I'm 5'11", and have no issues with that, but the top floor boards probably aren't
even meant to be used by the rider.. but probably by your 5 year old
kid that'll sit in front of you.. (a very common thing in Taiwan).
Forget they're even there.
They could have made the floor boards like on the Xciting but obviously
opted not to on purpose.

I just put 230 miles on the bike today, a 8 hour excursion with my cousin and his Reflex. A bit cold and the first 2 hours I had him try out the bike after all my mods. I had no issue with comfort but do agree it mwould be nice to stretch out a bit more than I currently can. With a 30" inseam I'd like to see 2-4" rearward seating. Along with a bit more plush cussioning would be nice too.

This is when the upper foot boards are used:

The pucture also illustrates what a bucket seat is ::)

Yeah......about 4" back and some ape hangers.

If it was to small for you why did you buy it? Just wondering? I'm going to get an Xciting 250Ri. They may not be as fast but they do fit me perfect. I'm 5'7" 30 inch inseam.

Try sitting on a cushion of some sort and see being up a bit helps. It's a lot easier to add foam to the seat than to remove a hump.

The kid in the bucket looks photoshopped.
-
Yep - the lighting on his face is wrong and they did a poor job of cropping around his fingers. Either they photoshopped him, or he fell out before they got to here...

Used to have a SYM GTS 250i that had lots of legroom and you could use the upper foot boards. I have got used to the DT but just hired a SYM GTS125i EVO on holiday in Portugal and it just reminded me of the luxury of legroom and use of upper footrests. :(
