Title: How to convert bystarter based carb to manual

Hello.  I am investigating converting my 01 Kymco Cobra carb to a manual choke and removing the bystarter all together.

Has anyone successfully performed a similar conversion?

If you look around on line scooter stores, or even ebay, I reckon you will find choke units for doing just that.
