Title: Parts for 2001 kymco cobra

It was my understanding that Kymco used the same 50cc engine on all its early scooters.  Does anyone know if this is indeed true?

I am looking for either a replacement bystarter or carburator.  Unfortunately, I am having problems finding much of anything for a "Cobra".

My Honda Spree bystarter looks indentical to the Kymco unit with the exception that the Kymco bystarter is missing the metal housing and needle (thus my need for a replacement.)  Does anyone know if they are interchangeable?

Most of the bystarters are universal, Just check the plug. You can order a "gy6" and it will fit. As far as YOUR engine(which is a sf10 btw) the cobra, A.C super9 and the ppl use THAT engine. Yep, cobra parts are hard to get, especially some plastics, but rest assured, you can swap parts
