Hey i was replacing my tail lights today and i took off the back "fender" where the 2 yellow lights or reflectors are. Are those supposed to be running lights? My zx 50 has the external blinkers that stick out and i noticed that there were light wires running to these 2 yellow lights in the fender. And if they are lights, they do not work on mine. Does anybody know if they are supposed to be blinkers or running lights? And going from the moped to the plastic wiring adapter there was only 1 wire so is there supposed to be another to complete the circuit? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

G'day, welcome to the forum. You can unplug the external indicators and plug in the ones in the panel.
I took my external ones off.

Sweet! I was thinking about doing that on mine as well. Is this also possible and/or easy with the front blinkers? I assume there is no risk of getting a ticket for this?

Here in Australia, the front ones are connected from new.

A chance yes, but probably no. The built ins were not considered far enough apart for Canuck and US vehicle codes - so they added the external ones. In most US states you aren't required to have blinkers as long as you use hand signals - but if the built in lights are obvious then I can't see you getting a ticket (and I'm an ex cop). You might consider putting some bright LED's in them to be more noticeable than stock...

Here, well mine anyway. They do NOT come pre-wired. I had to wire mine in. It was an easy process though...(the front blinkers). I used the same connection with a socket from a ford and a 1/2" drill bit to make the hole.. ;)
