Title: Left side seat latch won't catch. *** Sorted Out ***

The seat latch on the left side won't latch when closing the seat.  I haven't pulled the seat pan yet to look at it - but was wondering if there is a way to adjust the cable tension on the release for that side?

With the seat open I can latch the left and then the right - but if I try to latch the right and then the left - then the left will not latch.  Also - when releasing - the left releases first.  It seems to me as though I just need to adjust the tension on the cable for the left side - but I can't open it up tonight so I thought I'd ask if this sounds familiar.

Sometimes, if I've had my seat off for service, my latches are tempermental.  I believe it's a seat alignment problem in my case.  I can always get them to work by mashing down harder though.  :D

Tried that, tried pushing only on the left side, tried cursing out of the left side of my mouth...   ;)

There is a rudimentary cable adjuster under the "bucket".  I loosened the left one a bit and that fixed it.
