I'm thinking of picking up a People 150 if it looks and runs good. It's an 04 with 20,000 miles on it. If I can get a good deal on it I want to pick it up for my wife so we can take rides together. She probably won't ride it too much unless she gets hooked on it. She only has a 2.5 mile commute to work, but she'll probably stick to the car for that.

20,000 mi is a lot of miles on a scooter . It is probably actually 20,000 kilometers , which is closer to 10,000 mi . That is still a lot of miles but they are known to be very reliable scooters . Good luck .

Kymco's can get lots of miles... A former member had 54,000 on his ag.
I have 24,000 on my zx.(i know mine are 50's, but it's a kymco. ;)).. I'd say go for it if the price, etc. is right. ;)

My S125 has 31000 on it now and runs like new, uses no oil and gets good speed. I would say if the one you are looking at was looked after it will go for a long time yet.

Thanks! That's what I was thinking. It seems like with proper maintenance they should go for quite a while. I'm checking her out tomorrow afterwork. I dig the 16" wheels on the People!

I have had a 150 espresso since new, have had it serviced when needed, it is due for 18,000 klm now but runs like a dream if the one one you are buying has been serviced properly I don't think you will have any problems, happy riding.
