Title: idle is weird.. goes up when I sit on scooter???

Anyone have any idea why my idle speed would be fine, 2000rpm, when on the centre stand, when I put it down off the stand its still fine, then when I sit on the seat it goes up to 3200rpm?

I dont weigh that much, 160lbs  ;D

Dont see any touching of the bottom of the seat compartment and the carb or anything obvious really so ideas welcome.

Going to go have another look now in case I missed something  :'(

This came up about a year ago, but I don't remember who it was or what the solution was.

I'll have a search later on then sid if I cant figure it out, its very strange. Must be something pulling my accelerator cable somewhere I think.

Going to go look now before it rains.

Also check to make sure something in your intake system isn't getting compressed or compressing your throttle cable which could be loose at the same time.

Fixed it  8) the throttle cable comes off the carb and thro a small tube to take it round the back of the engine, then round the other side it goes onto a clamp and away up to the throttle. The clamp was holding the cable too tight, when I sat on it it pulled it tighter. The clamp is bolted onto my cvt cover so I guess with all my f@%kin about with belts the last week I must have moved it and made it tighter. Anyway fixed now, just made some slack after the clamp, all good again.
