Title: NOOB WITH PEOPLE 50, WHERE TO START???

I recently bought this off of craigslist for 100 bucks and was told it has been sitting for a year in a shed. The owner told me he thinks the cdi is bad. The lock set is missing and the front panels are missing. I have found someone that is parting out this model as well. I've never worked on scooters, where to start??? Any help is greatly appreciated, would like to have this bad boy up and running for the lowest cost with the best performance, lol, thanks fellows!!!

Buy the parts bike.
Go to your nearest kymco dealer/shop and ask them to e-mail your the shop manual.

Finding the same parts bike is a rarity, do not let it get away ... one or two parts off it vs replacing with new will pay for itself.
