Just curious if there is any engine or physical improvement ?

I'm not really knowledgeable about the 2006 model,
but it is my impression that no changes were made
even through the 2011 model.  And that for 2012, the GV250
was phased out rather than engineer it for fuel injection.

It is a very good scooter and really needs no improvements.
There are several changes for Kymco for 2012, mainly reduction in the  number of models offered.
It seems that Kymco has 200cc and 300cc engines and skipped the 250cc engine for 2012.

Anyway,  ride what you got and have fun... but safely,
