Title: service warning light
Post by: Alex on December 02, 2008, 02:35:19 AM
how can the  "service due"warning light be switched off (apart from taking it to a service agent)  ..the handbook says there is a button on the instrument panel which can be pressed to switch it  off...the button is there but the notice does not go off when I push it..is there a trick to this?  ???

There was a thread on the Maxi-Scooter forum a while back on this subject. There were several different methods of resetting the light. You can check it out here (http://www.maxi-scoots.com/postnuke/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=5436&sid=070c49c36adefbb15b139c7617f80dc0).

I fixed it...I pushed down with the blunt end of a twist drill which was the best thing I could find for the purpose of a suitable diameter...held it for about 10 secs and Presto!!! off she went ..thanks for the handy link ;D
