Title: Change gear oil every time?

I've just passed the 600 mile mark on my GV 250 & will change the oil tomorrow. The manual doesn't call for gear oil change until 1200 miles. Do you go ahead and change at each engine oil change?

It had the 1st service at the dealer at about 250 miles.

On my 09 People s200 (11,000 miles), I've been changing my gear box oil every other engine oil change. Even at that, my gear box oil looks very clean when changed.

I would follow the schedule in the users manual.
