Hi,
I'm Tbonestone, new to the forum, not new to scooters. On my roster I've had a Ruckus and vintage Vespas. So I've been around. Anyways... I browsed the forum of the Super8 and had a question or two since an S8 is on my short list of "next bikes."

Is there a set of nice rear shocks you guys use? and have any of you swapped the variator out for something different? On the grand scheme of scootering I'm a mild tuner; nothing too crazy and figured a variator and shocks would be a good place to start.

Check out Monster GY6 for parts.
I can recommend the Power Pack #2 which has the variator, weights, clutch and torque spring.

I have the clutch and torque spring.  The clutch and spring work well, but I would like to even out the rpm vibration with some different variator weights.

They also have some nice rear shocks, which should fit your super 8.

Would we get the AC kits or the DC kits?

2009 Super 8 150 in the States...

I believe that Kymco Scooters are DC, but I have not checked my unit.
