Ha Ha Ha These gave me a great start to the day Thanks guys
They're not game to wave because they think scooter riders are all gay & wouldn't want a wave to be misinterpreted as a pickup gesture

-
..it's so funny..lol...
;D :D ;D
-
It is funny isn't it. Here is my experiance. Ride my Victory-some Harley riders wave, when I had my Gold Wing- other wingers and most all touring types waved, when I rode my DRZ-no body waved, when I rode my military sidecar rig-everybody waved. when I ride one of my scooters- a few touring, sportbike, and a few crusiers wave. Some times when I wave at a harley rider, and they don't wave back -I give them the bird!-that really suprises them. I don't do this in the presence of other traffic-as I don't want other car drivers to get the Idea that scooter riders are a bad influence.
-
;D :D :) :D ;D
-
I have found that all tourers wave, wether I be on my metric cruiser, GS500, Kawasaki EX250 or even ZX50. I have tried waving at Harley riders when on my scooter here, but there is just too much image involved, though I must stress that is not always the case, just mostly.
-
...i ...still!!! flash them all a peace...
..even the ones i meet every day, that i KNOW aint gonna acknowledge my existence...
-
I have gotten waves from 99% of other riders I have met on the road.....
might have something to do with my cleavage? Or my downright hot ride!

..i'm restraining myself to not scream...PIC!!...
..sorry,...no dis-respect wv...
;)
-
Actually I'm starting to appreciate the "no wave". It takes the pressure off of asking should I or shouldn't I. I just don't bother anymore.
-
...lmao..yup, i kinda agree ABob...
;D
-
Ok, ol'timer flashback: Just 30 yrs ago, there was no waving amongst motorcycle riders. That is, except when one was riding to and from Daytona speed week or another big ralley. I guess somehow over the years it caught on full time. I wouldn't be sad to see it go away, but it does seem to solidify the idea that we're all cousins/brothers/sisters and I do like that.
-
Ha! I usually have to many other idiots to worry about when riding. It's all about the head nod ;D ;D ;D
-
Ha! ;D Yeah, don't always like taking hand off grip. How 'bout we all just wheelie when meeting another two wheeler? Well, hmm, guess we have those who'd do both. . .
I like to randomly zig-zag back and forth in my lane sometimes. . . get's car drivers attention.
-
Ha! I did have a street racer pass me the other day at about 90mph riding a wheely and standing on the rear tail light assembly (He did not wave though) Probably scratching his head wondering how I was running 60+ ;)
-
How 'bout we all just wheelie
..that would be cooool..........

What cracks me up is that none of the sport bikers here (Nashville, TN) wave to anyone, AFAICT. Only about 20-25% of the Harley guys ever wave to a scooterist... unless you pass 'em on the Natchez Trace. Then, it goes up to near 100%. I know: That's bizarre, but true!
