Just 2 days ago I was riding along without a care then BANG, ratatatatatatat! I thought I busted the belt. Mechanic says he's never seen one bust the crankshaft off and right at the crankcase. The damage is gonna be near $2000 to rebuild my motor w/tires (which it needs).
What should I do?

Unless you where low of oil, i would think something had to cause it to bust. I dont know but maybe junk it! Sell it on ebay by the part. Break it down you may be able to get some of your money back.

Or find a head-on insurance wreck to be a donor for a parts swap.

which one would be cheaper for you? priced a new one yet or found a good used one, then compare prices.

Look around, you should be able to find an aftermarket crankshaft and have a bit of a project doing a rebuild. If the crank snapped it must have been a poor quality one, maybe see if there was a recall on this. Have you been in touch with kymco to see if they will help.

No option to fix it? There's a low miles 2005 250 in austin.craigslist.org with scratched up plastic for $1500. Buy one that fell down and use your plastic on it.

Hes gonna do my agility 125 , stroker crank and bbk for around $1100. Tell him Justin With the agility 125 sent ya. Maybe he will give us both a discount lol !
