Title: Performance rear shock?

Hi all,

I'm going to lower my scooter even more by swapping shocks--I already shaved the seat. Has anyone purchased a decent rear shock that's lower than OEM (~340mm length). I've searched the forums and can't find anything I want in the <$100 range. Any help would be greatly appreciated (links, brands, etc...)

Autotech355 on ebay have 270 and 280mm shocks for the honda dio which will fit the zx50 for around $80, I dont know if they will fit yours. have a look at the mounts to see if they are the same.

Looks pretty good except I need to make sure I get the right fork spacing/width.

The autotech355 one you showed me looks good but might be a little too short. I'll go with this if the one above doesn't fit. I'm planning on machining an adapter to give me more length if needed.

Just bought this item. Seller accepted my $115 USD shipped to me. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm using it mainly to lower my agility.

Installed the new shock yesterday... pretty much had to take apart the entire back end to access the top screw. Anyhoo, the quality of the part looks excellent and fitment is almost there. I had to use a 1mm thick washer at both bolts. Next step is dropping the front end a tad. Stay tuned for more updates.
