Title: gy6 engine?

Is the Kymco 163cc engine in my people s200 a true gy6 engine? Looking on the internet I am finding the the gy6 is usually designated at 50,125 & 150cc engines. If it is not a true gy6, what is it and how would this relate to any modifications?

The 16 inch wheel scooters have a GY6 B engine. it has a long case for the larger wheel.
