I have a 2009 KYMCO 500 i/Ri that I would like to sell. It is the red and has 4000 miles on it. I have no idea what price I should be asking. If you have any idea as to price or where I can go to check the price I would cetainly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Seriously?
You're asking that without giving us your location?
Fine, I'll answer.
500i/Ri are going for around $6500 (US) here.

Adventure Rider folks (advrider.com) have a rather positive attitude about kymco scoots in
general, many of them own a scoot or two, the site has 'ads' section where you can post
your ad.. I'm not sure if this forum does too.
It shouldn't be that hard to sell.. hell, for that kind of money I'd buy it if I were close, they're
a lot more expensive around here.
Browse your local ads/classifields sites, you'll get an idea about what price is right, and also
check if any dealers around your area still have any leftover XC500s and for what kind of money
they're selling them, so you don't overdoit.

I just bought a new 2009 Xciting 500Ri for $4999 and the dealer has another for the same price. TJ's Cycle sales in Austin Texas. I believe he can get more 09's for the same deal...

Lucky bastards..
I'm looking at over $10k here for a ABS 500Ri, and $8k for ABS Downtown 300. >:(

Ouch - in Kuna's that wouldn't be bad... 2011 Xciting 500Ri is I believe $7300 - add $400 for ABS. You get the new styled one with the dual headlights, LED's in the fairing, marker lights... We get the single headlight, no marker lights, no LED's. I think they are giving the US the old stuff to have it compete as a price point. We have lots of the cheapo mainland China brands that are basically disposable (worse than the Kawasaki triples I had in the 60's/70's). Most Statesmen don't differentiate between those and Kymco - so they'll only pay so much. Shipping to Croatia probably costs them more - so for about $1,500 you get the better version. That's not too bad, but it still seems off...

Old model or not, they're virtually the same, you're not loosing much.
The thing is, my kawasaki is $11k here, and HALF that in US.. same as most big bikes.
A Yamaha T-max is around $18k here!
