Title: what protection do you guys use
Post by: callumP on June 21, 2011, 02:11:15 PM: when i get my moped i have a new road helmet, riding jacket (padded), and leather gloves. what do you guys use? ive seen what happens when you get road rash and its not pretty.

When going out of town for a longer ride, I also wear padded touring pants and Dri Rider boots, don't recall the model of them. Have just bought a leather jacket a couple of weeks ago, but have not worn it yet.

But will she still like your looks after you involuntary test the friction coefficient between road and skin perhaps some day ?

Don't forget the boots by the way, according to some studies on motorcycle related injuries they're more important than you might think.

Post by: callumP on June 22, 2011, 08:00:51 PM: i never used boots, although when riding mx drifiting a corer i planted my foot hard into the ground and it really hurt. i suggest a jacket because i prefer my flesh attatched to my bones
