Title: Bleeding linked brakes; 2009 GV

Just performed some routine maintenance (oil, final drive, etc.) and was about to bleed and re-fill the brake system when it hit me that the left brake lever operates both front and rear brakes.  Are there special instructions on how to bleed this linked braking system?

Instructions for my '07 Xciting 500 are to bleed the rear first, then the delay valve, then the front.   I like to leave the master cylinder cap on while bleeding and watch the fluid level through the sight glass.  If it gets low, take off cap, add fluid and replace cap.  That reduces the chance of getting brake fluid on things.  I've also learned not to fill with fluid to the very top of the master cylinder because when you reinstall the cap fluid will be pushed out and overflow.

where is the delay valve located?

I couldn't say where it is on the GV but on the Xciting it's between the forks right about behind the headlight.  It's kind of a bugger to get to.

Although Kymco literature says that the 2009 GV 250 has linked brakes, I do not see or feel that it does.

1. Place the scooter on the centerstand, and apply appropriate weight to get the front wheel off the ground, and get a friend to rotate the wheel as you pull the brake lever.   Does the wheel get hard to turn ?

2.  If the front brake is linked to 2 brake levers, there should be 2 brake hoses going to the front caliper (I think).  I only see 1 hose.
