Title: My New 150cc Super 8

Hello,

I am new to this forum. I have been a member of the scootdawg forum for several years. I recently bought a 2011 Kymco 150cc Super 8 and when I found this Kymco forum I just made sense for me to join. Anyway, last Saturday I picked up my new 2011 Super 8 at the dealer and I have to say that I LOVE it!!! Before this scooter I had 50cc & 150CC Roketa's so getting a Kymco is quite a jump in quality for me. So far I have about 120 miles on it and when I drive it to work I find myself not wanting to get off the scooter when I arrive. The cornering on this scooter is so much better than the 150cc Roketa that I had up until recently. By the way..I got the red / black color combination (see link below). I was told by someone that the red / black combination is the hardest color combination to find....I don't know if that is true but that is what he told me.

Cool! Glad you are enjoying it! I sat on one at my Kymco dealer. I love 150's!  :)

Welcome to the forum!  I love that black & red color scheme.  Of course I'm biased since I have one too.  I got mine about 6 month's ago and I love it.  I've got nearly 2500 miles on mine and it keeps running better.  One thing to watch out for, the bolts on the muffler will get loose and fall out, especially the cap at the end of the muffler.  I'd recomend adding some blue loctite.

Nice, I want a Super 8 really bad. I'm ready to buy but they are sold out where I live.  The shops are saying the 2012s will be in sometime in July.   I could go about 2 hours south and get a red/black 2011 but I don't have a truck to get it home.
 :'(

So while I wait take some twisties for me!

I don't care what color I get, I like the green ones, but the blue/yellow has the visibility factor going for it.
