I am getting close to the 600 mile service. Can anyone provide some expectations on price, time requirement and any issues I should consider. I'm in the US (Florida).

Reasonable (for Nashville) would be $65-100, depending on how long it takes. Most shops should be able to do the service in 60-90 minutes, while-you-wait if you call ahead and schedule it, first.

Jprestonian, Have you seen or heard from Whisper lately? Wonder if he changed his name on here or what? Further, I sent him a direct E-Mail and never heard back. Wonder if all is ok? My first service, I went in at 405 miles and spent 130 bucks. Who knows, if you can't do all yourself, people can caherge just about anything if you have to come back. I used all synthetic oil and it made it a bit more costly.

I have no idea, sorry.

I scheduled my 600 mile service today. This was very helpful. I got one quote at $300 and this last one at $100 and would take about 90 minutes. Sounds like it's in the ball park. I use Synthetic in my car, do you recommend for the scooter at only 600 miles?

With the tolerances in these engines, it probably would be okay, but I think I'd wait until at least the next change before going to synthoil, if not the 3rd one.
