Title: strange noises

i hear a tapping sound.
not valves.
like two pieces of metal too close together and vibrating.
any suggestions?

Does it sound like BBs (bearings) in a coffee can?

First check center and side stand and if all rubbery thingies are on them.

dont know about bb's.
sounds like one of the various springs vibrating, but it is not.
will check for rubber thingies after work today.

have lost 1 of the 3 bolts holding the black cap on the end of my exhaust.
there is a spacer or washer in there that is vibrating.wont be able to tell if that is the whole problem til i can fix it so i can hear if anything else is buzzing as well.
keep an eye on those they seem to be a problem for lots of people.

I am always alert to funny noises in bikes or cars.
Wash your bike once a week as an excuse to look for loose stuff.
