Title: Problem when the scooter gets warm

I got a Agility-08 4-stroke 50cc with a 84 main jet and K&N Air Filter, CDI cut and new busher.

After riding for some miles it starts to slow down and if i give it gas then choking.... i have tried to tune the gas/ratio screw but no luck...
The i have to try start it againg 6-7 tryes, then it goes on idle, then i can drive again...
Is the 84 main jet to rich?!?  ???

a 08 might be time for a good carb cleaning.

84 main sounds lean according to some of the posts i'v read, but a plug chop is always the best way to determine.
I have an 08 and just cleaned my carbs last weekend...definitely recommended.

I have never had problems with dirty carbs on scoots and bikes. However, I have never had a bike longer than 27.000 kms. (always bought brand new)

my philosophy is that i`am flooding the carburettor somehow....and then it`s stops...

So is 27.000 kms a good time to sale a scoot and get anew one because im at 18.000 right now.
But yet my motor has been just about rebuilt.

There is nothing magic about that mileage, it is just that I have never had a bike or scoot longer than that. :)
I think that every little 4 stroke should be good for at least 50.000 kms before major interventions.
Big bike, 100.000 kms.
But, many major-cost stuff falls apart between 50 and 100.000... for example, exhaust cans, if you have dual cans, it can easily set you back for 1000+ US$...

Engine chokes after a few miles and will run again after some waiting ?

Sounds to me like you have a clogged fuel filter, or an airtight fueltank/cap (there should be a tiny way somewhere for air to enter when fuel leaves the tank...)

like mono says a clogged fuel filter may be the problem.

 I had exact same symtoms on my old air cooled beetle once, that was a dirty filter. When I stopped it let the dirt settle at the bottom so I could restart and run till it clogged up again with the flow of fuel pushing the dirt up and blocking the filter.
Worth checking I think.
