Dear Enthusiast,
August 7th is a sacred date commemorating an event of epic proportion in the annals of world history. The Lake Arrowhead Invitational 6-Hour Endurance Rally round stunning Lake Arrowhead, on Highway #173 and North Bay Road, nestled in the San Bernardino National Forest, will provide riders time for reflection.
This venue is approximately 12 miles of tight up-n-down twisties, and is as close to Isle of Man T.T. conditions as a motor-scooter will ever get in the US.
Traditional displacement (actual "cc") classes per MSILSF Rules. 1st Place trophies awarded for each class. 2nd and 3rd place trophies will be awarded to any class with at least 6 entries. Entry Fee: $99.00; Rally Passport: $25.00. Ten percent (10%) of all proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Foundation. Includes event T-Shirt and MSILSF Patch.
91 octane petrol is available at Blue Jay 76, 27242 Highway #189, Blue Jay, CA (909) 337-8626.
The primary checkpoint, accommodation, libation and cuisine at the elegant Saddleback Inn, Lake Arrowhead, CA.
The Saddleback Inn has graciously offered MSILSF racers a 20% discount for your stay Saturday night, August 6th. Please contact Karen at (800) 858-3334, and give her the coupon code "MSILSF". If you decide to stay an additional night, Sunday, August 7th, the discount is a whopping 50%!
Initial entries by invitation; additional entries discretionary. Salton Sea T.T. participants will be given preference for as long as possible. Due to the nature of the venue being a resort community, the number of entries will be limited.
Sincerely,
Alan Spears, Scootermeister

Dear Prospective Entrant,
We're pleased to inform you that our insurance provider has accepted our application for coverage for the Lake Arrowhead 6-Hour Endurance Rally. However, we will be limiting the number of entries. Due to the requirement of pre-submitting entrant data, we have established Friday, July 15th 2011 as the cut-off date. Sorry, no exceptions.
Entrants interested in overnight camping instead of staying at the Saddleback Inn should consider making early reservations at Dogwood Campground, located in relatively close proximity to the Inn.
As previously indicated, trophies will be awarded to the 1st Place winner in each displacement ("cc") class. The trophies are DinnTrophy TR45 Victory Torch Series, green and gold to compliment the forest theme of this event. We are presently interviewing trophy girl candidates in anticipation of an awards ceremony at the Saddleback Inn following the event.
Thank you for your continuing enthusiasm and competitive spirit.
Regards,
Alan Spears

Gas prices remain high, and the economy is sluggish. So effective immediately MSILSF will comp (issue free of charge) Rally Passports and Racing Licenses to riders traveling more than 75 miles to the venue. Go figure?

I regret to inform you that we're canceling the August 7th Lake Arrowhead 6-Hour Endurance Race due to lack of a sufficient number of entries. We will refund entry fees via PayPal, or we can carry them over to Hell's Loop (November 5th).
