Title: HELP! Will GY6 150 bolt to my people 50 ?????????????
Post by: cyclone39 on April 13, 2011, 04:32:20 PM
Getting an abused people 50 and wondering if the GY6 150 engine will just bolt in to the chassis? I think the people 150 has this engine as stock??? Also, where on the bike does it show the year made? The guy I am getting it from thinks it is a '99? What was the first year for the people 50? It is a 2 stroke model. Thanks for help.

I am no exptert on this but I have learned (from this list, thank you!) that most gy6 engines are built for small wheel scooters. As your People has larger wheels, you will need a gy6 with a longer swing arm. they are called something lile gy6B. I hope this is helpfull.
