Title: people 250 keeps shutting off on me can some one help only 3000 miles

hi i am new her i am having problem with my people 250 it has a little over 3000 mile i was riding for about a hour when i lost power  stopped at a light bike shut off turn it back on made it to next light same thing i am hoping some one can help me made it all the way home bike shut off again

Warm out?  Vapor lock. Try riding with the gas cap open. If that fixes it, you owe me a beer.  :)

Sometimes the small orifice in the gas cap gets clogged so do the test mentioned above it is quick and easy.

It is sounding more to me that it is a carb/ petcock problem. Something is restricting the fuel. I would check the fuel filter first, petcock second and then clean the carb ( this should happen at least once a year). If you need step by step, let me know. Very very easy

 i got it fix it was the spark plug needed to be changed
