Title: First oil change on Agility 125.....question......

I searched the world over for the 15W-40 and the only one I can find locally is Shell Rotella T SAE 15W-40 API SL certified....which by the label seems to be marketed towards Diesel engines but I have heard of people using it in motorcycles.

I also found Castrol 10W-40 for 4-stroke motorcycles that is API SG certified.

Which oil would you use if these were the only choices you had?

My local  dealer uses 10W-40 motorcycle oil in their Kymco scooters.  I put the Castrol 10W-40 oil for 4-stroke motorcycles in my People 150 and have had no problems.

I had the same choice between 15W-40 and 10W-40 and decided to go with Mobile 1 10W-40 Synthetic.

I have always had good luck with the Shell rotella synthetic 5W-40.  Good reviews and good price.  Any of the ones you mentioned will be fine just make sure you keep up with the change intervals.
