Title: How about a Poll- what color is your People 250
Post by: kawzak on September 17, 2008, 02:14:18 AM: Just for fun, list the color of your People 250, and any other info if you want- just like to see what others taste are. Mine is an 08 metal flake red "S" model - I live in south Texas. ( does color have anything to do with geograpic location?-just joking) Thanks for any feed back.

Post by: geezerbob on September 17, 2008, 08:59:14 AM: Mine is charcoal, but I didn't pick the color. It's what it was. Dealer in SW Virginia had it on ebay and I got it new for $3,100. For that price, I would have bought it if it was pink.

Post by: Dion on May 19, 2009, 04:36:29 PM: Silver Gray and dirt. With an additional light coating of salt corrosion. This is my around town and winter bike for riding in Chicago. I try to wash each of my bikes at least once a year, sometimes I forget. The Kymco P250 is a terrific ride and even works in 6 inches of snow. Frozen ruts are something else entirely.

You are perhaps confusing the People S 250 (http://www.kymcousa.com/gallery/still/current/PEOPLES-250_01.jpg) with the original People 250 (http://cdn-5.psndealer.com/e2/dealersite/images/NewVehicles/NV16822_1.jpg) (no longer made).

It's not like they come up with the best names in the world... and then, the introduce a new model, and name it nearly the same as the old model (that they sold side-by-side for a few years). 2007 was the last year for the original People.

Post by: jprestonian on August 21, 2012, 02:14:48 AM: I just got mine back after seven weeks in Scooter Pokey. With a few broken body panels and a flat rear tire. Now, I just have to have the head machined and put it all back together. I project late summer, 2013.

I guess you can't towel dry the thing with bed liner on it. How in the funk do you wash it?
