Hi fellow Kymco people :)
This is a thread mostly for countries and towns, cities and jurisdictions where scooters are a bit less common. Or as a matter of fact, A LOT less common!
If you live in Taiwan, Vietnam, or someplace like that, you are probably thinking "Well where do I start? Here, there, EVERYWHERE!" And since this is an international board of sorts I bet many of you spot Kymco scooters on the road every time you walk out your front door.
In the U.S. however, that is far from the case. I can go weeks riding around town and not see a Kymco anything. But once in awhile...I do. So this thread is for us riders who see a Kymco once in awhile and think "hey, me too!"
Sort of based on the thread they have at ModernBuddy and Modern Vespa about Buddy and Vespa sightings, this is our very own Kymco sighting thread, and I hope it hasn't been done and I just didn't look hard enough. I did a forum and Google search and nothing popped up, so I hope it's fresh.
So, without further ado, just state the what, when, and where of the sighting, and keep on the lookout. You never know when you might be out riding and see one and think "there goes a Kymco!"
Ok, I will start it off:
Friday Feb. 4, around 8:00pm on W. Colorado Blvd in Pasadena, Ca across the street from the Norton Simon Museum. Spotted a very nice white Kymco Grand Vista leaving the parking lot of an office building. Male rider, nice night to be out for one. Heck, maybe it was YOU? ;D
Ok, now you go =]

Kinda cool actualy...
Just moved... From one building to another... Same complex/apartments... Guy in the next building has a kymco zx!
I also saw a super 8 150 last week but don't remember the details.
Great idea!

Funny... I saw a P250S...I think... today in Citrus Heights, CA. It was a gal riding it in her powder blue riding coat and a full face helmet. I need to get my battery fixed so i can ride.
My battery quit this week and I don't trust it.

It's only car-dominated Germany and not Taiwan, but Kymcos (or 2-wheeler in general) are not really uncommon in my area. I can see Kymcos every day in the neighbourhood or at work. This is beside my office:

In the picture you can only see the Honda section of the company, to the left is Triumph, to the right Kymco + Peugeot. On the other side of the street (where the photo was shot from) is Louis, Hein Gericke and Polo - and some minor companies.
Of course, it's not the only Kymco dealer in town. ;)

In my area, there are more "marshins", "vip" than there are kymcos..... >:( ::)
There are 2 pink ppl 50's in downtown.
1 red oem ZX out there...
1 green s8 50 out there....
2 other ag's...(maroon, other is blue)...
I on the other hand have 4 in the yard..... ;D :D :D

Spotted what i think was a red or maroon people yesterday.
That would make it march 3rd, about 5pm headed north on blanco road near bitters. San Antonio .

Hard to believe that in the 2.5 years that I have owned my Kymco P150 (in Iowa), I have only seen one other on the road (and we have a dealer in town)!
-
Its kinda of strange that I hardly ever see a Kymco...there are 4 dealers with in 40 minutes of me??? :o
-
There are two Kymcos in my condo complex, and only one of them is mine.
I see a lot of Agility 125s in the area, but I see 3x more Genuine Buddys.
