Title: Quannon pricing?
Post by: wardie on January 31, 2011, 08:45:28 PM
I just visited the Progressive Motorcycle Show in Cleveland and saw the new Honda CBR 250 and it was priced at $3995. Water cooled, double overhead cam, balancer shaft, fuel injected 80 mph for $3995. I'd love to consider the Quannon but at $3449 it isn't priced competitively? What gives here? Am I missing something? Wardie

Has anyone seen a Quannon at your local dealership? I'd like to see one up close and dealer info would help. Wardie

go for CBR 250

I own a quannon 125 , ride it daily in sydney. Here car driver are crazy the little 125 has difficulties to keep up.
Though I love my bike due to its economy my thoughts of the quannon :
bad side: slow , too soft suspension , only 5 speed
good side : fuel economy , cheaper to maintain due to single cylinder air cool , good for learner

I just picked up a 150 today. I'm not planning on wringing it out while it's still in the break in period but I'm still pretty pleased with it. I don't know if I'd have been willing to pay $3449 though. For the $2299 I paid, new, I'd say I came out ok.
