One of the smartest things** I did this trip was to bring along a tea-towel to dry things off after I parked and got under the awning on the Group W bench. The inside of my face shield always gets wet because I keep it cracked to stop fogging. Plus I can dry myself a bit before I present myself to the public in the coffee shop :)
** some might argue that there were dam few smart things I did this morning!

No photos of the bench that morning - my friend Chris was sound asleep on it when I arrived. I did persuade him to take a couple of bucks to get himself breakfast. Had to shake my head when he, instead, headed up to the SpeedWay gas station to get some grub. But then - he knows better ways to stretch $ than do I.
It was good to be out doing this again - it's been a while since I had a wet one. (not that I got wet in my FroggTogg over-pants and Oxford RainSeal hiviz over-jacket) And, uh, the LIKE isn't exactly the best light I've ever ridden behind on dark/bright city streets into headlights. The LIBERTY is the better light! Started thinking it might be time to address the cataracts!!!!
Good fun - who knows how long I get to do this!@
