Is their a manual that covers removing our plastics...maybe in one piece?
-
you can do it your self with a philups screw driver and just go slow and easy there are little tags that might brake of if you get to rough. its a pain sometimes you just need to slide theam tags out of the hole there in befor removeing the plastic right off,
-
Thanks Blue,
They are all off the bike time for a little cleaning.
-
sounds like a good idea maybe I well do mine just for a something to do. a clean scoot is a happy scoot.
-
I took them all in the tub with me then gave em a good waxing.
Now to attend to cleaning the motor and frame.
Scoots start easier and go faster when their clean .....right! ;D
-
lol sure it takes the extra weight of the scoot to go faster.lol
-
And less air drag too... ;D ;D ;D
-
Ya and if you keep the plastic off you might get a extra 2 miles a hour out of it.
-
If I removed the windscreen id probably gain a km or two, but it sure would be much colder in the winter.
-
Windscreen should actually improve air drag.
-
if remove the windscreen sent it my way I want it. that thing cool.
-
Thanks AXY the manual you sent shows how to remove all the plastics ;)
I hope i didn't throw you under the bus since your probably tired of distributing literature :P

I will have to use it on Saturday. On gf's A125 the heated handgrip (right) stopped working, so I have to dive into the electrics...
-
Electrics are always fun...at least these 50's arn't that complex.
This is my first experience with a scoot so compared to BMWs or Lexus they are easy to troubleshoot
P.s Don't tell my wife there are such things as heated grips or shell make me retrofit some ;D

Heated handgrips cool do they they work like heated seats in cars a heated seat on a scoot would be cool.

These guys make waterproof seat warmers for motorbikes which can be cut to fit our 50's.
Anyone know how much extra amps our electrical system can handle?
These warmers need 10amp continuous.
How many amps draw are fog lights?

Loomin..Check out www.poorfish.com (http://www.poorfish.com) for the big game portable hot seat. This was a popular item some years ago. It really does get super warm.....no electricity needed.
