Young fellow at my door, selling something, having spotted my bumper sticker, asked "were you really a medic in Vietnam?!"
I don't get that often - I put it there hoping to locate other medics over the years. Share a story.
I nodded. The 20-something said, "wow, that must have been wild, huh!?"
Couldn't help but chuckle at that - 'Yeah, it was that."
He thanked me for my service and offered his hand.

This was weird at the store the other day....
Fairly rare around these parts. Scion never advertised them. Made by Toyota in Japan - for the youth market.

This 2" tiny tach died before I did. It lasted over a decade on my LIKE. Old hands warned me - said that it would kill me - "you'll be looking down at it and get pasted!" I found it pretty interesting. Check idle - see my top RPM after a ride, etc.

I miss this old fellow's shop in Yellow Springs. An old 'head shop' full of cool stuff.

I got my AK550 out of the barn yesterday, tires were only down 4psi over the winter, started right up, rode to PT and errands, I was down to 2 bars on the fuel, so I topped it off 1.6 gal @ $4.299
gotta get some diesel for my tractor, $5.50/gal for dyed untaxed

Stig, you've been quiet, lately. Good to see you back..with pictures!
Re: your tiny tach...I think I have 5 of them and 1 or maybe 2 have a replaceable battery. Oldest one has to be going on 11 or 12 years, now?
