Title: Battery cable connections

Greetings.
I am trying to replace a battery, but unsure about the cable and wire connections. Does black connect to negative? Red to positive? There are secondary wires. Does the red secondary also go to the + and green to the - ?

Thanks for any help. The wiring diagram in the manual is to indistinct to read...

Same on my Super 8, Red is ALWAYS positive and green is negative.... why green I dont no :)

The negative is grounded to the frame.
Thus it is called the "ground" in the USA  or "earth" in Europe.
And you can mentally make a jump from earth to green as in grass which grow on the earth....
