My Kymco died today. I mean dead. No engine, no electrical power, nothing. It's like I turned the key off or disconnected the battery. I've checked all the usual culprits. The battery is good. The fuses are good. The grounds are good. I'm getting power to the solenoid. Everything is tight. I'm stumped.
I'm a little interested in the heavy red cable that comes off the starter solenoid. I assume it runs electrical power on the bike. If I have a problem with that wire I assume everything will die and power will be cut off completely. I'm going to follow that wire tomorrow and see where it goes. Any other ideas? The ignition itself?

NM! Thanks guys. Turns out there are fuses attached to the front of the battery box, AND hidden on the side of the battery box. Who knew? But I'm glad I went out and looked. 10A fuse was blown.

You're welcome!
Stig
seriously - glad you found the fix!
Kind of exciting to get a post from a LIKE owner having a problem!
Oh well....maybe next time!
They're pretty solid bikes.

As Stig wrote, our LIKEs are pretty stable but do have some flaws like this fuses down there blown sometimes.
After check fuses I would have gone towards your indication, main cables, which are in rare cases faulty (pls see link).
