took a 20 mile ride today...temps 80F (27 C)...nice breeze, blue sky, leaves changing colors. Our warm days are numbered here in the Midwest. Average high is 62 (17 C) for this time in October.
Anyone else out enjoying the last gasps of summer?

Yes,
Daughter and I spent a warm & sunny yesterday communing with folks over in Dayton.
Hard rains this morning - which we very much needed!
Overnight temps will be cooling next week - which means it is time to charge up my heated gloves!
I really enjoy that hi-viz Oxford rain over-jacket when temps drop below 65°F. Very easy to layer beneath its rain&wind-proof skin for my ride and my coffee/sit on the Group W.
Being an "over-jacket" - it can handle several layers without binding me up!
