A month ago tomorrow this happened while out on my scooter - on the LIKE I think.

Was so tired of pulling large band aids off! But I could not go out in public without covering it from view.
Today I can go public again!

Just very glad I didn't break the arm - can't ride one-handed!

I broke my thumb while dismounting my SV650 about 25 years ago, boot caught on seat, ended up kicking the bike away from my and of course put my hands down just in time before falling on my face.
left hand, fingers free, though the cast disabled my wrist as well as the thumb, but I could still operate the clutch, and barely slide my casted hand thru the sleeve of my Aerostich, so I was still able to ride

Wow. That's looking tons better Stig, good to see.

Ooof. Glad it's healing, but that does not look like fun.
A few years ago I foolishly decided to ride without my moto jacket and just wore a heavy flannel. That day I ended up dropping my Reflex, and the asphalt laughed as it chewed through my shirt sleeve. As my spouse was taking pics to document the healing process, she commented on how her phone's camera asked if she was taking a picture of food. Needless to say, I now always armor up to avoid another "meat arm."
