Venus and Jupiter were very close together in the eastern sky at dawn this morning.
Pretty cool to see them!
I took photos from 5:54AM (EST) through until 6:16AM - sunrise was 6:44.
First shot was away from the city, & back over I-70...

Cool! most don't realize those few really bright 'stars' in the sky are really planets!

There is so much light pollution around here that the moon and planets are usually the only things we can see at night!
I'm not sure when I learned this....
My daughter, coming out of her night shift at the hosp. spotted the planets, too.
as you can see - there's not much else to look at up there!

Impressive Stig, as you say light pollution prevent us seeing much else usually - well it's usually the rain clouds here in Blighty!
