new painted lines at the local post office, one of the 2 handicap spaces ended up being about 2/3 the width of a standard
(not handicap) space. My Nissan Frontier doesn't fit between the lines, the thing I like most about my handicap plates, wider spaces you can open doors without banging the vehicle next to you

Randy,
Do you get comments about having handicap plates while riding on a two wheel vehicle?!!
They gotta be thinking, "Three wheel OK - but two?"

I have a walking disability, not a riding disability, no different than a handicap person driving a car
I was surprised how easy it was to get the plates, just asked my doctor, he said "oh! you only need this form " and he handed me one all filled out and signed, I mailed it to dmv with $8 and they sent me new plates for my truck, and a placard to hang from a mirror if I'm in another vehicle, less than a week. I hear a lot of dmv horror stories fro around the country. But I give NH a thumbs up. I got a set of license plate security screws and mounted it to the windshield of my AK550
I like being able to park closer, it's an hour + workout pushing the cart around, stretching for top shelf stuff, on my hands & knees for the bottom shelf, then putting everything away when I get home, I'm beat for the rest of the day, but it's the wider spaces I really like
