Hi,
Has anyone purchased one of those $300 aftermarket stainless steel mufflers advertised in ebay?
Is it any good, or is just replacing the stock muffler a better way to go?
Thanks in advance.

Hi, shalbern!
Welcome to the forum!!
Is this a No Name muffler we are talking about for $300!??

Unless it is going on a 2 stroke motor it won't likely make any difference other than noise . Good luck .

Hi,
Here's the link to the exhaust system I was referring to:

It is any good at $145 + $100 shipping?

I'm going to say no, unless your stock muffler is shot.
Performance gains will be minimal.
Spend money on tires and brakes, maybe a performance clutch.
What are your hopes for the exhaust?

If you are putting it on a P250 Vintage style, it is not likely to work.
I it is for a P250S (sport), you have a better chance of it working.
The vintage style bike has a one piece exhaust header/muffler assembly that goes from the engine to the back end in one complete welded piece. The P250S and B&W and others have a header assembly IIRC.
EBAY sellers are not known for being to most honest.
