Title: an easy install!, even for Stig
Post by: Stig / Major Tom on July 26, 2025, 09:04:08 PM
I ran a new bolt through the old threads on the old mirror adapter on my LIKE200i - cleaning things up and then spun the new mirror in. Snugged up the locking nut.
Sprayed it all with ACF-50 - and slid the rubber protective cup down.

Took me a little longer to get to this - much stuff on my plate - then the garage turned into an Easy-Bake oven when that mid-west heat dome settled over us. It was impressively oppressive outdoors and on pre-heat in the garage!

FYI: after my purchase from Germany - I stumbled on the original seller who sold me this set of FAR mirrors over a decade ago. His price is much better - and so is the postage. Again, he was very helpful and knowledgeable in advising me which bits I'd need in order to fit these mirrors to my LIKE.
