Title: Local run

As I mentioned on a post elsewhere, I seized an opportunity yesterday afternoon to take a local run in almost Spring-like weather, sunny spells and 15C. 

After dropping off the return package my wife has sent me with, I swung through a local town my American friends might see as quaint.

Then it was out of town and along some nice twisty roads to make the most of my great escape before an enforced week off scootering next week when we’re off up north for a break.

Hawk I know.  The roads and scenery are superb, it’s just the weather which sometimes lets it down!

I spent roughly a decade where I’d regularly do 500 mile weekends just riding from home into Wales or the Peak District and back again for the sheer delight of it.
