I tried to post some photos of my “new” Agility without success.
I’ve cropped the photos as small as possible on my iPad but when I try to forward the photos I keep on getting a message “file too big”.
I often see some beautiful photos at the forum and started wondering - how is it possible to forward such big photos (files) to the forum ?
At this stage it looks like I will hardly ever be able to forward photos to the forum.

the big, embedded photos are shared from a photo hosting site (there are a number of them). The small thumbnails that you click on to open are uploaded directly to this site and have a size limit. I probably do it the hard way...I take a pic with my phone, email it to myself, open it on my Windows laptop, use the snipping tool to copy and save the pic at a much smaller size and am able to upload that to the forum. With a photo hosting site you upload your photos to that site and then click a link from the site and embed that link in your post...and a big picture shows up.
I'm sure there have been a few detailed posts on this site explaining how to upload photos.

@ Iahawk -Thanks, my laptop got wet, does not work and am not thinking of buying another one. So I will try and find a free photo app and hope to use my iPad or iPhone to forward photos.
The costs of most photo apps are just too high for the purpose I will be using it.
So hopefully I will be able to forward photos soon.

I know both Stig/Tom and Neil post photos using a hosting site ... they should be along shortly to give you some suggestions.

Scooter fan, on both my laptop and my iPad I use the same site as Stig (at his recommendation), it’s https://postimages.org/
You just upload your photo then click on the right side of the “hot link for forums” line paste the link into here et voila:

Since I do all my writing, documentation and
e-communication from my smartphone:
-installed photo resizer on my fone
-take pics or screenshots with the same
-resize them on the fone with this app
-insert pics/screenshots into reply/Attachments

As said before already, here we always have scooter weather and temperatures to bear with.
New years trip lead me to PALMANOVA an ancient masterpiece of fortification, stratedigly improved by Napoleon Bonaparte and his engineers.

If you're asking about the pic which I posted JJ, it's Gran Canaria, one of the Islands in the Canaries archipelago. Thoroughly recommended at this time of year allowing us sun-deprived Brits a chance of some winter sun!
