Off to Lowe's for an absolutely frozen cut tree this week. Tree farms are all too short now.
Got it on the stand and then 7 or 8 people tell me that it is leaning.
I explain: "the earth is spinning & is on a tilt. Calm yourself. It'll be fine."

Nice clock tower there. Super Christmas decorations too. Puts our local civic effort to shame.

Locally, we did manage to raise the Village tree, in spite of the 70 mph winds!

70MPH winds.....?....ah yes, I did read that the E. Channel is shrinking as England is being blown closer to your friends the French.
