Title: 2013 like 200i
Post by: whiskers626 on November 30, 2024, 07:51:38 PM
Ok, hello all I’m back. I have a question. I’m testing the ohms on my fuel pump, I have the meter set at 2k and it reads .314 ohms not sure if that is good or bad? Back story, pump is new factory pump well couple years new but still. The pump no longer comes on when I turn the key on so therefore no crank. Just trying to go through the motions before I buy another one. Oh amd yea the voltage to the pump is 11 something
Any ideas?

Not coming on when you turn the key does not mean necessarely a faulty fuelpump.
- cables off pump
- external  12 V source on pump cables
- whirring sound YES/NO

if YES
- check fuses, relay, electric from switches to pump

if NO
- pump south
